Get started with a commercial project
In about 30 minutes, create a project brief that gives stakeholders and suppliers a shared starting point.
Gather
- Facility type, location, target users, operating model, and opening objective.
- Dimensioned plan, photographs, delivery path, floor and utility information.
- Desired zones, equipment categories, accessibility needs, and capacity assumptions.
- Budget boundary, decision-makers, procurement method, and required approvals.
- Target dates expressed as constraints, not supplier commitments.
Create the brief
- Name one project owner and one decision authority.
- Define user outcomes and the activities each zone must support.
- Mark known building, access, utilities, neighbor, and schedule constraints.
- Separate required scope from preferences and alternates.
- List information that still needs architect, engineer, landlord, authority, or trade verification.
- Agree on the next decision and its required evidence.
The result is a reviewable input to Plan, not a final layout, price, availability, lead-time, installation, or code commitment.
