Assemble and set up equipment
Use the model-specific manufacturer manual as the authority for assembly, anchoring, electrical work, clearances, and commissioning.
Prepare
- Confirm the product passed delivery inspection.
- Find the correct manual using brand, model, and revision.
- Verify space, utilities, floor capacity, anchoring conditions, tools, and helpers.
- Inventory hardware and components without substituting fasteners or parts.
- Protect the work area and keep bystanders away.
Assemble and inspect
- Follow the OEM sequence and torque values; do not improvise.
- Use licensed or qualified trades for electrical, structural, anchoring, plumbing, or other regulated work.
- Route cables and cords exactly as documented and install every guard and safety device.
- Before use, verify stability, leveling, fasteners, locks, pins, cables, stops, moving clearance, and diagnostic tests.
Stop work
Stop for missing instructions, damaged structural or electrical parts, unexpected drilling conditions, unstable assemblies, pinched wiring, fluid leaks, or failed safety tests.
