Prepare for delivery

Make the property and receiving team ready for the service level on your order.

1. Confirm the delivery address, phone number, shipment count, and purchased service.
2. Recheck the measured route against packaged dimensions.
3. Clear vehicles, gates, doors, halls, stairs, elevators, and the final staging area.
4. Protect finished floors and walls without creating slip or trip hazards.
5. Arrange enough capable adults and rated moving equipment for work beyond the carrier’s scope.
6. Keep a phone, camera, flashlight, marker, and copy of the order available.
7. Plan a dry, secure inspection area and keep pets and bystanders away.

Do not ask a driver or untrained helper to perform lifting, rigging, disassembly, electrical work, or installation outside the written service scope.
