Choose a delivery service

Match the service to the shipment size, property access, and help available at the destination.

Method Typical handoff Plan for
Parcel Packages delivered by a parcel carrier Moving cartons inside and checking each package
Curbside freight Pallet or crate at the curb or end of driveway A responsible adult, inspection, and moving the load beyond curbside
Threshold, when offered First dry area Confirmed access and exact included boundary
White glove, when offered Room placement and limited setup as defined in the quote Written scope, access, assembly, debris, and packaging terms

Availability and scope vary by item and destination. The current Shipping Policy controls available services and charges.

Decide

  1. Compare packaged size and weight with your measured route.
  2. Identify who will move each item after the carrier’s handoff.
  3. Confirm stairs, elevators, restricted access, parking, and appointment requirements.
  4. Read the written service description before purchase.
  5. Treat delivery, assembly, anchoring, electrical work, and commissioning as separate unless the order explicitly combines them.

After ordering, prepare for delivery.
