Troubleshoot equipment safely

Identify the product and symptom, protect people and data, and stop before trained service is required.

Stop and isolate

Stop for smoke, burning odor, shock, exposed conductors, unstable frames, cracked welds, frayed load-bearing cables, missing guards, leaks, uncontrolled motion, or repeated breaker trips. Disconnect power only when safe and keep the equipment out of service.

Quick triage

  1. Record the brand, exact model, serial number, and equipment location.
  2. Photograph or write down the full error message before restarting.
  3. Check the OEM manual for the symptom and safe reset instructions.
  4. Inspect external power, plugs, switches, emergency stops, keys, connections, batteries, obvious obstructions, and environmental conditions without removing covers.
  5. Perform only the documented user-level reset or check.
  6. Confirm the result under the manual’s test procedure and record what changed.

If the problem remains

Collect the order number, symptom timeline, photos or short video, error text, recent moves or maintenance, and checks already completed. Contact support without posting serial numbers or account details publicly.

Do not bypass safety devices, use unapproved parts, enter service menus, alter wiring, or remove guards unless the OEM procedure assigns the work to your qualified role.
